Rehearsal Dinners at NOSOC

New Orleans, Louisiana, what can you say about it? It’s wonderful! We’ve got it all: culture, architecture, music, people, and especially food! Here we have The New Orleans School of Cooking located in the heart of the French Quarter adjacent to Jackson Brewery.

All you have to do is plan a pleasant trip to the amazingly beautiful French Quarter to see the architecture dating back to even the 1790’s. Walking around the French Quarter to some can seem like a trip in time and amazes even natives. Music thrives here in New Orleans as both named artists and those just trying to get a small tip perform out in the open for all to enjoy. If you take a walk down the street you’ll always walk to a beat whether it be to sax players on the corner or the stomping of horse hooves drawing carriages. Did I mention food? New Orleans is a must stop for southern plates from seafood to burgers we have everything you could ever want. The New Orleans School of Cooking is known for not only providing you with a quick tip on how to prepare native New Orleans dishes, but also can help you plan any event, including rehearsal dinners.

Being located close to Jackson Brewery the school is not hard to find. Jackson Brewery used to live up to its name as it was the largest independent brewery in the south and tenth largest in the country! It is over 110 years old, designed in 1891, and is a great landmark in the city. As if it were its own little city, Jackson Brewery offers everything: four full floors of stores, kiosks, bars, and cafes. So, when you’re done at the New Orleans School of Cooking, it’s a nice place to stop and shop. But if you haven’t come to the city for a majestic tour, and are planning a special event, I recommend having your rehearsal dinner at the NOSOC.

The New Orleans School of Cooking offers rehearsal packages which start at $53.00 a person inclusive with a minimum of 25 people and a maximum of 44. The packages include a three hour event, with a cocktail reception, a cooking class demonstration followed by dinner, and take home recipes for each guest. Here at the New Orleans School of Cooking they not only show you how to do it, but offer all the tools you’ll need to make your dining experience truly authentic.
