Foodie Friday: Muffuletta Toast

Muffulettas are one of my favorite New Orleans delicacies. This Muffuletta toast recipe gives you the taste of a Muffuletta in a bite size portion. Bring these to your next dinner party and you are sure to be given the crown hostess with the mostest and people will be begging you for this recipe!

Muffuletta Toast

Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c mayonnaise
1/2 c pecan pieces toasted
1/2 c olive salad, drained
2 tbl oil from olive salad
dash of pepper or cayenne
1 1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
french bread


Mix all ingredients together except mozzarella cheese Let sit an hour or so. Toast slices of bread and brush with olive oil from salad. Spread the cheese and olive mixture over toasted bread. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.Pop under a broiler slightly melt cheese.
